Trim Levels

No matter which trim level you choose, you'll travel in style with the Traverse. With seating for up to eight people, the Traverse is available in five trims: the LS, LT, RS, Premier, and High Country. The base LS trim gives drivers strong value for its price, as it provides you with heated side mirrors, LED headlights, 10 cupholders, a comprehensive standard safety package, and three free months of SiriusXM Radio. In addition to these five trims, you can also get a Chevrolet Traverse package with unique features, including the Midnight Edition, Sport Edition, RS, and Redline Edition. Each package has special badging, features, and a unique look that makes your Traverse special.

Interior and Exterior

The Traverse has several creature comforts, starting with the LT, where you can opt for leather seats and heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, a power-adjustable passenger's seat, a power rear liftgate, and a Bose 10-speaker sound system. One of the most compelling interior features is that the Traverse's third row accommodates adults comfortably. With the second- and third-row seats folded, owners will get a cargo-hauling vehicle. It provides extreme capability with an incredible 98.2 cubic feet of space with the second and third rows folded. Owners will be able to fit lots of suitcases and have sufficient storage in various cubbies throughout the cabin.

Its exterior includes some exciting new colors, including Sterling Gray Metallic and Radiant Red Tintcoat. Lower trims have 18-inch alloy wheels, while higher trims have 20-inch wheels. If you want roof rails for your adventures near Aiken, they are optional in the base LS but standard elsewhere.

Performance

The standard V6 engine with 310 horsepower and 266 pound-feet of torque makes the Traverse one of the more powerful mid-size SUVs. Front-wheel drive is standard for every trim, but all-wheel drive is an option. All Traverse models get a nine-speed automatic transmission with a maximum towing capacity of 5,000 pounds. Even though the Traverse does not have a turbo engine like many other SUVs in its class, it provides more than adequate pickup while also returning fuel economy that will make owners smile. You may also enjoy a comfortable suspension and active noise cancellation that will keep the cabin quiet.

Technology

If you're looking for plentiful USB ports to satisfy everyone in your family, then the Traverse is your vehicle. It also boasts an infotainment system that is intuitive and easy to use, as it responds readily to user inputs. The new Chevy Traverse also comes with standard wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus a Wi-Fi hotspot, making this SUV fully tech-savvy.

One of the Traverse's most outstanding features, which is standard on the High Country trim and optional elsewhere, is its dual skyscape sunroof. This option accentuates the openness of the cabin while providing a powered shade for comfort.
